England pacer James Anderson has been out of the second Test match of Ashes at Lords because of an injury in the right leg muscle on the first Test.
On the first day of Ashes 2019, Anderson left the field injured. He could just only bowl four overs in his first spell. After that, he didn't bowl a single ball in the entire match.

His injury was confirmed in the MRI scan. For this, he was sent to the rehabilitation program. He will rehabilitate under England and Lancashire's medical team [Anderson's County team].
In July 2019 he got injured while playing in the County Championship for Lancashire. After giving some fitness test he went on to play in the first Test at Edgbaston. But his old injury came back to haunt him once again in the first Ashes Test.
England has dearly missed the presence of their highest ever wicket-taker Anderson as they have lost the first Test of Ashes by 251 runs.
Although Anderson will miss the second Test starting on August 14. England team is hoping to get him back on the third Test, starting from August 22 at Leeds.
