Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) President Nazmul Hasan Papon said Zimbabwe is going to participate in the Tri-Nation T20 series in September even though they are banned from taking part in ICC authorized tournament or series.
Bangladesh had a plan of arranging a Tri-nation T20 series involving Bangladesh, Zimbabwe and Afghanistan on September. But as ICC terminated the membership of Zimbabwe few days ago there was a doubt about this series future. But BCB president ensured that Zimbabwe will take part in this series although they are banned.

"Although Zimbabwe are banned from ICC, they will come to Dhaka for sure. And they will also participate in the Tri-Nation series with us [Bangladesh] and Afghanistan," said Papon on Monday.
Papon believes Zimbabwe's ICC membership termination won't affect their eligibility to participate in this series. He said Zimbabwe will come to Bangladesh for sure.
"There is no doubt about Zimbabwe coming to Bangladesh. This series doesn't fall under the embargo of ICC. Zimbabwe will come to Bangladesh for sure," added Papon.
