Former England Captain Micheal Vaughn said Australian batsman Steve Smith is the best batsman he has ever seen. He has written thin on his official Twitter account. Smith has been phenomenal in the first Test of this Ashes 2019. Coming back from a ban of one year due to the sandpaper incident in South Africa, Smith came back stronger than ever.
Under tremendous pressure and persistent taunt from the English crowd, he scored two magnificent hundred [ 144 in first innings & 142 in second innings] in both innings of the first Test and has taken Australia on the verge of victory.
