England pace bowler James Anderson has left the field with an injury in his right thigh on the first day of the first Ashes Test which came as a great headache for England.
He didn’t come on to the field in the remaining play of the first day. England management said Anderson will go through a scan to assess the extent of the injury.

Before feeling tightness on his knee, Anderson bowled just four overs of which three was maiden overs. He conceded just one run in four overs.
Anderson got injured on July 2, 2019, in his muscle. He got this injury while playing for Lancashire against Durham.
The England squad is very much concerned about Anderson's injury if scan report shows any tear they may have to play one or two Tests in this Ashes without Anderson.
Anderson has been England’s strike bowler for long. He took 575 wickets in 149 matches for England and he is also the highest ever wicket taker in Test for the three lions.
