Mashrafe ruled out of Sri Lanka tour

Bangladesh captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza was ruled out of the Sri Lanka tour due to a hamstring injury.
Mashrafe was seen removing his knee cap immediately after stopping when he was on his run-up sustaining the injury and rushed to the dressing room.

Later it was confirmed that the extent of the injury severe and ruled him out of the tour. This was the first time he was ruled out of any tour since he was appointed as the captain.
“He has sustained severe injury and he is not in good shape,” said BCB chief physician Devashis Chowdhury confirming the news.
Earlier, BCB chief selector Minhajul Abedin Nannu said they are waiting to get the report of his injury status.
There was bad news in other front too as pace bowler Rubel Hossain also was having problem while bowling against Afghanistan A that prevented him from completing his full quota.
Bangladesh will play three-match ODI series in Sri Lanka.
