England’s World Cup-winning coach Trevor Bayliss has become the head coach of the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise team Sunrisers Hyderabad after his tenure with English side has come to an end.
There were some rumors that he may join as the head coach of Kolkata knight Riders but to everyone’s surprise he joined Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Bayliss replaced fellow Australian Tom Moody, who parted ways with Sunrisers after seven seasons. This will be Bayliss' second stint in the IPL, having already coached Kolkata Knight Riders from 2012 to 2015 during which the franchise won the title twice.
Bayliss is one of the most high profile coach in Cricket. He has two IPL trophies but the 56-year old’s biggest achievement is winning the World Cup with England for the first time at their own backyard few days ago at Lord’s.
He also made English a dominating force of Cricket after a horrific show in 2015 World Cup. Under his guidance the three Lions become the number one ODI team in the world.
Bayliss had also won the Big Bash League with Sydney Sixers in 2010-11 and he had also coached Sri Lanka, who reached the 2011 World Cup final under him.
