The first semifinal of World Cup 2019 will be held between India and New Zealand on July 6 at Old Trafford and the second semifinal between England and Australia will be held on July 7 at Edgbaston.
But there is a worry about the second semifinal between England and Australia. There is an opportunity that this semifinal can take place in front of a half-empty stadium. More than 50 percent of tickets for the Birmingham clash were snapped up well in advance by India fans believing that they would face England at Edgbaston. But when South Africa beat Australia it was decided that India will face New Zealand at Old Trafford in the first semifinal. Now, Indian fans are trying to offload that pre-bought tickets.

The worry is that those India supporters with tickets will not turn up and Edgbaston will be nowhere near full.
The Cricket World Cup 2019, which carries out random rather than mandatory ID checks on tickets, has its own reselling website which has so far seen 65,000 tickets exchanged but many will use ticket resellers such as Viagogo because they can charge higher prices.
Tickets for the Birmingham game, which had been going for more than £1,000 on Viagogo when it appeared as though India would be involved, those tickets were offered for as little as £61 on Sunday when its revealed India isn’t gonna play in Edgbaston.
