Jos Buttler has differed with the comment of his teammate Jonny Bairstow who had recently come up with a statement that the supporters want England to lose.
Buttler said instead he saw the fans get behind them.

 “When I go into the streets, I see people are supporting us. They all wish good fortune for us. All supporters are with us and they want us to well,” said Buttler.   
The hosts England have been going through a patchy form in the World Cup despite coming here as red-hot favourtie.

They started the tournament well but back to back losses against Sri Lanka and Australia has put them in a spot of bother. England has two remaining matches against India and New Zealand; to ensure the semifinal they need to win these two matches otherwise one the team among Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka might take that fourth spot of the point table.  

After England lost the match against Australia, the English supporters taunted the national team. Bairstow was not so pleased about that and said, supporters want England to play badly and they do such thing in every sport England play.
“People wait for us to lose. They don’t want us to win. They want us to lose somehow so that they can put pressure on us. Not only cricket, English people do this in every sport,” said Bairstow.
