Fast and furious Rubel changes syntax of English cricket with one spell

|| Desk Report ||
Fast Bowler Rubel Hossain was instrumental in leading the exit of England at the 2015 World Cup. The Bangladeshi pace bowler picked up 4 wickets by giving away 53 runs which changed whole syntax of English cricket. The revolution of today's English cricket should be attributed to that very spell.
In his first spell Rubel picked up well settled Ian Bell and Eoin Morgan. He claimed two more England wickets at the death over by getting rid of Stuart Broad and James Anderson. Anderson’s flying uprooted stumps ensured the quarter final for Bangladesh. England failed to chase down 276 runs by finding them short of 15 runs.

This shameful defeat against Bangladesh taught English cricket a lesson and changed their whole set up after that. Special importance was given to ODI and T20 cricket. They changed their mentality and gave the ODI specialists a chance to shine. And they didn’t disappoint, the results came hand in hand. They secured their place in the final of 2016 T20 World Cup and then made it semifinal in the 2017 ICC Champions trophy. Now they are going to the World Cup as one of the favorites to win it.
Former English cricketer Mark Butcher thinks, if England would have beaten Bangladesh and went on to the quarter final this immense change wouldn’t have come.
‘England could have easily gone to the quarter final. But in the knock out stage England would have lost to anyone. Then this changes wouldn’t have come’ Mark Butcher told Cricinfo.
Defeat against Bangladesh has brought good fortune for the England cricket but in contrary Bangladesh got their confidence of performing on the big stage with that win against England. After 2015 world cup Bangladesh have gone to strength to strength step by step.
