West Indies batsmen seemed to be terrorized by the Bangladesh spinners as they got turn and bounce aplenty and the psychological damage looked so prominent in their approach they even got some soft dismissals also.

But Caribbean skipper Kraigg Brathwaite said there was no fear of wicket.

“It got worse as the game went on. It was a little easier when the ball got soft,” he said.

It was the similar kind of doze what West Indies applied on Bangladesh giving them a lush green, pacy track on the side’s tour in Caribbean Island in July.

However, When West Indies were on 11 for four, Shimron Hetmyer chose to attack and threw his wicket playing one shot too many. Asked whether his approach was expensive for West Indies, Brathwaite refused to put the blame on him.

“He bats in that way. He is quite an attacking batsman. But you have to be good in defence as well. Obviously he can attack quite well. Each batsman have their specific game plan, so that’s his game and he did well,” Brathwaite opined.

He also rued for not getting inform fast bowler Shannon Gabriel in Dhaka Test in their quest of leveling the series.

“Obviously he is a crucial bowler but we have guys that can follow up. We just want to stick to our plans and I think we will do well in that game.”
