The Zimbabwe Cricket Board could now relieve a bit, as three of their senior players namely Brendan Taylor, Craig Ervine, and Sean Williams have made themselves available for selection for the tours of South Africa and Bangladesh.

The official cricket board of Zimbabwe has recently been muddled in a whole lot of issues as certain rebellious seniors had rejected to play in the ODI series against Pakistan in July.

The likes of Taylor, Ervine and Williams have had a long dispute over the non-payment of their match fees. The Board, which has reportedly been troubled due to numerous corruption cases found itself out of funds to provide basic match fees.

Accordingly the players did not take well to this and refused to play against Pakistan, which certainly sent a strong message across the board.

Moreover, Sikandar Raza, another senior player was not awarded with a central contract and accordingly the 32-year-old wasn’t selected for the upcoming tours either.

Ervine recently underwent a knee surgery and is probably going through rehabilitation.

The ICC is working along with the Zimbabwe Cricket Board to help them out of the current dearth of finance situation, and bring stability in terms of monetary issues.

Nevertheless, the return of the aforementioned trio would surely be a huge boost and might help the team recover and provide a decent competition to South Africa and Bangladesh respectively.
