Bangladesh are the dark horse of 2019 World Cup, says England player

There was a time when Bangladesh were the perennial
underdogs of the cricket community. Their participating in big tournaments was
seen as merely a gap to fill and a team to win points off. Now, however, the
scenario is completely different.
And England batsman Jos Buttler himself agrees to that. The
wicketkeeper-batsman believes that Bangladesh are the dark horses of the 2019
World Cup as they have a great group of players capable of beating any team.
“They beat us in Australia in the 2015 World Cup,” he told
Ekattor TV.
“They also beat us in the World Cup before that.

“They reached the quarter-final of World Cup and the same
team is likely to play in the next World Cup.
“I don’t know if they are the favourties, but they are
definitely one of the dark horses.”
He then went on to claim that England are one of the
favourites to win the World Cup because they are the home side and have some
good players in their team.
Jos Buttler’s words will be taken kindly by the Bangladeshi
since it is the first time a foreign player has openly endorsed the nation. The
Tigers will be hoping that they spring a surprise as the dark horses and do
something magnificent in the tournament.
