BCB release fixture for upcoming tri-nation and Sri Lanka series


The Bangladesh Cricket Board have released the fixture for
the upcoming tri-nation series against Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe along with the
fixtures of the Test and T20I series against Sri Lanka. The Bangladesh team
will host the two nations from January and will look to beat the two teams to
forge their place in the cricket fraternity.
On the 10th of January 2018, the Zimbabwe team
will arrive in Dhaka and play a friendly game on the 13th. On the same
day, the Sri Lanka team also arrive at the capital to play the series that
begins on the 15th when Zimbabwe face Bangladesh.
Then, on the 17th, Sri Lanka will take on Zimbabwe
and then two days later on the 19th of January, Bangladesh will lock
horns with the Lankans. Sri Lanka will then go toe-to-toe with Zimbabwe on the
21st of the same month while he host nation will then face Zimbabwe
on the 23rd and Sri Lanka on the 25th to conclude the
group stages of the series.

The final will be played on the 27th of January.
Right the next day after the final, both the Bangladesh and
the Sri Lanka team will travel to Chittagong for the first Test that will begin
on the 31st of January. The following Test will start on the 8th
of February after the team returns to Dhaka on the 5th of February.
Finally, Sri Lanka’s tour will be concluded after they play
two T20Is with the host nation on the 15th and 18th of
February, after which the Lankans will depart on the 19th.
The fixtures have been confirmed by the Bangladesh Cricket
Board as they were released a little while ago today.
