All-rounder Mosaddek Hossain said that he believes he can make a comeback to the national team by performing in Bangabandhu Dhaka Premier League [BDPL].
The right-hander who led Sylhet Thunder in the last edition of Bangabandhu Bangladesh Premier League [BPL], had a neck injury during a match against Rangpur Rangers on 30 December and was not only ruled out of the remainder of the season but also from all sort of cricketing activities since then.
After becoming completely fit Mosaddek made his appearance in Abadan’s opening fixture against Partex Sporting Club on 15 March and played a remarkable innings of 61 from 74 bowls that laced with four boundaries and to over the rope shot.

Mosaddek said that after getting cleared from an almost two-month injury he returned to cricket and played well from his very first match but due to the coronavirus pandemic situation everything got halted.
"I started to play with one match in DPL and started very well. Then the matches gone stopped. Is perfectly fine [eye injury]. Shoulder injury has also gotten better, it took a long time, around one and a half to two months," Mosaddek said to Cricfrenzy.
The all-rounder has been playing in the national team as a number seven batsman which is called as a critical position and a challenging position to bat for any batsmen in the world, but believes that he has always tried his best to play well in that position and despite his batting position dilemma in the national cricket team, he thinks that he will make his comeback in the squad through his performance and will clinch his position once again.
"As long as I was playing in that position I think everything was fine. Those who bat at that position in world cricket, everyone knows that it is a difficult place to bat. To get set at that position is also difficult. But I think that as long as I was fit I was contributing as much as I could, though there were ups and downs, sometimes it happens and sometimes don't," he said.
"Yes, it's a very challenging place. And yes I believe that if I play well in the Premier League and I'm confident that I'll make a comeback in that position and will do something good for Bangladesh cricket InshaAllah," Mosaddek concluded.
