Bangladesh once-promising all-rounder Nasir Hossain said that young players in Bangladesh need to have a personal manager or mentor to guide them in the right direction to be flourished.
Nasir also stated that a proper personal manager could have guided them in the right direction as he said in a live session with Cricfrenzy.com yesterday night.
“I’ll definitely say that every player needs a manager as well as a mentor. It can be your coach as well your mentor. You need someone who can guide you at this time. I didn’t get anybody who can guide me,” said Nasir Hossain, who would be considered to be the finisher of the Bangladesh team in his early days.

As of now, he is out of the national team for the last five years. Expressing his regret, the national-discarded finisher said that it would be a different scenario if he would get assistance from a manager or mentor.
Citing an example of Indian cricket, Nasir said that they have specialized trainers and managers for whom they could easily take their decision to sustain in the completion race.
“In India, you can see every player has a specialized trainer and manager for themselves. It becomes easier for them to take a decision as well which we don’t have in our country if we have a personal manager it’ll help us grow further,” he regretted.
Nasir tipped him as a disciplined player, stating that he was fully disciplined in his time while he was in the national team but he alleged that he was presented in the wrong way by some media people.
“You can’t call me an undisciplined person. It’s not like that before any match I was out for the whole night. I didn’t do anything bad when I played for the national team. Nobody can tell that I missed any practice session in the national team or was late by one minute as well,” Nasir concluded
