Former ODI skipper Mashrafe Mortaza, who is touted as the most successful skipper of the country, said that following gut feelings can bring success.
In a Facebook live session arranged by Tamim Iqbal, the current ODI skipper and joined by Mashrafe, the former ODI skipper of Bangladesh team, Tamim who asked a question from his first World Cup match in 2007 where today's veteran opener was the young player and Mashrafe was an established player of the team.
Tamim asked about an incident that happened 10 days before playing against India, which was Mashrafe told in front of everyone that he is going to bold out Virender Sehwag, the hard hitter opener of India team, through an in cut delivery.

In response to that question, Mashrafe replied with a twink of suspense at first that Tamim knows how he said and everything happens right away.
"I know you have the answer. As I said for many times that Tamim I think today will something happen," Mashrafe said.
However, the veteran paceman said that people often have gut feelings sometimes that if I do this that will happen for sure and he believes that it worked for him in a number of cases. Also remembering the sorrows of the departure of Manjarul Islam Rana was also motivated the whole team to win a match in his memories and defeat a team like India on the world tournament platform.
"Whatever, sometimes people have gut feelings sometimes suddenly and sometimes it happens. That was the reason and you also do remember on that day Manjarul Rana passed away. So automatically everyone was determined to win that match, obviously to win for Bangladesh team, at that time defeating a team like India was not an easy matter at all. But when we heard the news of Rana we were like different, even Dav Whatmore he is a foreign coach they don't feel that kind of emotion ultimately. But if you remember that he even became emotional. We all were emotional at that time. We weren't able to attend his funeral," He added.
"Ultimately everyone delivered the exact thing they were planning to do in that match from the morning. We lost the toss and field first in that wicket. We had it the way we wanted due to the grace of Allah," Mashrafe concluded.
