Domingo insist rest over BCL

Several national cricketers were rested from taking part in the third round of Bangladesh Cricket league matches as they will prepare to take part in the upcoming home series against Zimbabwe.
Bangladesh are struggling in the longer version cricket and will be challenged by the Zimbabwean in the upcoming one-off Tests series at home.
Many national team players do not have the time to play four-day matches in their home condition because of the year-long scheduling of cricket matches while there is always lot of question mark of the quality of longer version cricket in Bangladesh.

The third round of BCL matches stat on this Friday at Cox Bazar Stadium and the national team players could easily play this round of matches before the Zimbabwe Test.
The third round of BCL matches start on February 14 and finish on February 17 while the only Test against Zimbabwe start on February 22.
Only three national team players- Saif Hasan, Nazmul Hossain Shanto and Nayem Hasan, will participate in the third round of BCL matches
Bangladesh chief selector Minahjul Abedin Nannu insisted that head coach Russell Domingo wanted the players to take rest rather than playing in the third round of matches of BCL.
North Zone will take on Islami Bank while the south the zone will take on Walton Central Zone
