Ottis Gibson, Owais shah and Grant flower will be coaching in the special edition of the BPL, named as Bangabandhu BPL, to celebrate the Father of the National Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s birth centenary.

Gibson will be coaching Comilla Warriors while Grant Flower has been appointed as the head coach of Rangpur Rangers. Owais shah will be in charge of Rajshahi Royals

Ottis Gibson will be the most high profile of coaches in this year’s BPL for his experience in international coach. He has recently coached South Africa in this year’s World Cup but his performance was not up to the mark and his contract has not renewed. He also served as the bowling coach of England.

Grant Flower has been a long-time Pakistan batting coach and has some knowledge of Bangladeshi conditions as he played here in his early days of cricket. His contract was also not renewed after the World Cup.

Owais shah will be new coach as hhe as not any international coaching experience before but has played county cricket.
