Rubel Hossain is disappointed for not being selected for the tour of India despite performing well in the ongoing National Cricket League. On Tuesday he came up with his first-class career-best 7-51, playing for Khulna against Rajshahi Division.
Rubel is one of the most experienced fast bowlers in Bangladesh but his economy rate in twenty 20 cricket is high. His performance in recent matches for the national team has been disappointing and therefore the selector has axed him for the tour of India.

‘’I am disappointed for not being selected for India series I feel bad after being left out of the national team. I played for a long time in the national team. Being left out of the side disappointed me. The door for the national team is always open. If I can perform I can come back to the national team. I will try to do well in the next match. I always tried my best,” Rubel said after being selected man of the match for his performance against Rajhshai.
‘’There is a match in a few days time and then we have BPL if I can perform there I can make a come back in the national team,” he added.
Rubel will be hoping he will deliver for the national team in the next series and make some strong performance so that the selector can not left him out.
