Shaila to lead in ACC Emerging team’s Asian Cup

Shaila Sharmin to lead the Bangladesh women’s A team in the upcoming ACC Women’s Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2019, Bangladesh Cricket Board announced on Thursday.
Bangladesh Cricket Board on Wednesday announced a 15-member Bangladesh women’s A team for the tournament which will be held in Sri Lanka from October 22.

Shaila Sharmin will captain the side in this four-nation meet that includes India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka being the other participants.
Bangladesh will face India in the tournament opener on October 22 in Colombo before facing Pakistan and Sri Lanka on October 23 and 25 respectively.
The top two teams after the group stage will play the final on October 27 in Colombo.
