Bangladesh Cricket Board officials said on Saturday that they are eagerly waiting for the outcome of the security report ahead of their tour of Pakistan.
Bangladesh Under-17 team is expected to travel to Pakistan on October 22 while the following day Women’s national cricket team is expected to tour Pakistan.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh's national cricket team is expected travel to Pakistan in February to play two tests and three Twenty20 internationals.
However, all these tours are subject to security clearance.
According to BCB sources, a two-member team of national security agencies will visit Pakistan shortly and BCB will take a decision in this regard after they return back and give their report.

‘’A security team will visit Pakistan and we are waiting for their report. We will make a decision after their return back and give us their report,’’ said BCB women’s wing chairman Nadel Chowdhury regarding the tour where women’s team will play three Twenty20 internationals and two one-day internationals.
BCB has decided to appoint interim team management for the national women team as head coach Anju Jain along with other two members have decided not to travel with the side to Pakistan.
BCB has now turned to former head coach Dipu Roy Chowdhury for the tour to be played between October 26 and November 5.
BCB game development officials insisted in the same line regarding their Pakistan tour that consists of two three-day matches and three one-day matches.
Meanwhile, BCB cricket operation chairman Akram Khan said that they can have a clear idea about their upcoming tour of Pakistan once the BCB officials return from the ICC meeting as they are expecting the members of the two boards to talk regarding the matter at the sidelines of the ICC meeting.
There is security issue here but you have to understand that women cricket or age-level cricket and the national team is different
‘’We consider improvement in women’s and age-level group while that is not the case when it comes to national cricket team [men] as it is a different security issue because everybody is focused there.
‘’We have to take government permission for our national team to go to Pakistan and we are thinking and waiting for that,’’ he said.
‘’When we will have green signal from government we will take the required steps,’’ he added.
