The opening-match of Bangladesh women’s team in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifier against Papua New Guinea was called off due to rain on Saturday at Dundee, Scotland.

The match will now take place on Monday, the allotted reserve day, according to an official.

Before facing Papua New Guinea Bangladesh will now play against USA today at Forfarshire Cricket Club, Scotland.

The women’s team will face hosts Scotland on Sunday in their last group stage match.

The top two-team from the two-group will play the semi-finals on September 5 and the final will take place on September 7.
