Regular run-scorers shine for Khulna

||Desk Report||
Soumya Sarkar, Anamul Haque, and Tushar Imran kept their good run going in the fourth round of the National Cricket League when Khulna Division faced Rajshahi Division in their Tier 1 clash. All three batters belted a half-century each as Khulna posted 281 runs for the loss of seven wickets on the first day of the game.
Another prolific batsman of Khulna remained unbeaten on day-1 with 37 runs to his name and will resume the innings on the second day. While Soumya (66), Anamul (56), Tushar (71) contributed with the bat, their skipper Nurul Hasan once again failed to put up a substantial score, losing his wicket for 25 runs.
Tushar is currently the top-scorer in the league, with 480 runs which includes three centuries and a fifty. Soumya is at the third position in that list after smashing a ton and three half-centuries, amassing 362 runs.

Sunzamul Islam was the pick of the bowlers for Rajshahi on day-1, dismissing Anamul, Tushar, and Afif Hossain. Forhad Reza got two wickets to his name while Muktar Ali took one scalp.
The first match between these two sides ended in a draw in the first round, at Rajshahi. All four teams have failed to produce any result in the first three rounds and both Rajshahi and Khulna will be desperate to change that this time.
