Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib al Hasan said that he is eyeing to make a comeback in the shortest possible time. He is not sure when he will return to international cricket, but if everything goes according to plan it might not take more than two months for him to continue playing.
The statement clearly indicates that Shakib is expected to be available before the Bangladesh Premier League, the country’s lone T20 tournament, scheduled to begin in the first week of January.

The all-rounder is expected to miss the home-series against Zimbabwe and West Indies.
“This is actually a problem that has no certain timeframe,” said Shakib. “Now there is no pain in my hand. I feel very good. It's important when I get my strength back in the hand. It could can be done quickly through rehab. Maybe I can play in the next month in that case.
“If I feel pain after Rehab, then I’ll have to wait again to see when I can undergo the surgery. It's actually very uncertain. Another thing is good that after the infection, the pain has reduced. Now I can play without surgery. If that happens then it will be the best option.
“Hopefully, I can play after one month. As there is a matter of regaining the strength, it might take a little longer.”
The 31-year-old, who was expected to fly out to the USA for the surgery, was admitted to a hospital in Dhaka upon his return from the Asia Cup. An emergency procedure was carried out to remove the pus from his injured finger, but an infection ruled him out of action for up to at least three months.
