Rajshahi capitalizing on massive opening stand

||Desk Report||
Rajshahi Division look formidable in every department against Rangpur Division in their Tier 1 clash in the National Cricket League.
Rajshahi, who bundled out Rangpur for a petty 151-run total, consolidated their grip on the match with a brilliant batting display as both of their openers, Nazmul Hossain and Mizanur Rahman, picked up a century. Rajshahi ended the second day of play with 419 runs on the board, losing two of their wickets.
On day-2 Nazmul and Mizanur added 212 more runs to their partnership of 99 runs from the previous day. Ariful Haque broke the stand by dismissing Mizanur for 165 runs. Mahmudul Hasan later removed Nazmul when the opening batsman already had 173 runs under his belt.

Junaid Siddique and Farhad Hossain will resume the innings for Rajshahi on the third day. The Rangpur bowlers, on the other hand, will have to work their magic to stop Rajshahi from adding to their already-massive 268-run lead.
Rangpur will also depend on the two centurions from their last match, Naeem Islam and Ariful Haque, to repeat their heroics in the second innings in a bid to steer the team out of danger.
