The English cricketers seem to have a tendency to attract controversy, especially when they are at a bar or a nightclub. Not very long ago, Ben Stokes, the former vice-captain of the English test-side, was dropped from the Ashes-squad because of getting involved into a fight outside a pub in Bristol.

Jonny Bairstow, who head-butted Cameron Bancroft, has been followed up by another keeper-batsman, Ben Duckett, on the list of mischievous deeds.

The left-handed batsman poured drink over his side’s vice-captain, James Anderson. As a result of his uncouth behavior he has not been named in the team for their upcoming match against Australia. He was not a part of the main squad announced for the prestigious Ashes as well.

According to Cricinfo, Duckett intentionally poured drink over his teammate. The ECB adopted a subtle approach to the matter as an investigation is being conducted by them. However, the Englishman has been dropped from the team for the sake of the ongoing inquisition.

Moeen Ali will be leading the English side for the warm-up match on Saturday. No other player from the main Ashes squad will be playing the match. In 2015, a year before his debut against Bangladesh, Duckett was sued for drunk driving.
