Bijoy reaches 1000-run milestone in DPL

Prime Bank opener Anamul Haque Bijoy became the first cricketer to score 1000 runs in an edition of Dhaka Premier League (DPL). The premier 50-over tournament of the country was given List A status in 2013.

Bijoy remained unbeaten on 112 runs and guided Prime Bank to register 10-wicket win against Rupganj Tigers.

In this match, Tamim touched the milestone of 10,000 List A runs as Tamim hit his 20th hundred in 50-over cricket. 

Bijoy surpassed the record of Saif Hassan who had scored 814 runs in the 2018-19 season for  Prime Doleshwar. 

Naim Sheikh stands in third place, he scored 781 runs in a single season of DPL.

Rakibul Hasan scored the fourth highest 781 runs in the same season and Liton Das scored 752 runs for Abahani Limited in the 2017 season.
