Kedar Jadhav opens his cricket academy in Pune

Kedar Jadhav, the Indian batsman has started his own cricket academy in Pune, his hometown and The Kedar Jadhav academy was inaugurated on March 14 as well. Jadhav, who has been out of the team since the Auckland ODI against New Zealand in 2020, had a dismal show in the IPL 2020 in the UAE. And his franchise Chennai Super Kings has released him ahead of IPL 2021 mini-auction in Chennai last month.

While his performances on the field have become poor in the last few years, this academy could help him on the business front. However, the announcement of his new venture came from him only as Kedar Jadhav himself took to Instagram and shared a couple of pictures from his newly-formed academy.

He wrote, "Here's to a start of an amazing Journey! Practice and coaching plays a crucial role to give the players an upper cut to success. My dream to provide all the better facilities to the budding cricketers has finally turned into a reality today. Well equipped with all the International facilities, Kedar Jadhav Cricket Academy is all geared up to give the players a platform to script their successful cricketing journey."

However, Kedar Jadhav didn't get any team in the first round of the IPL 2021 mini-auction. Later, he was bought at his base price of 2 crore by the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the second round of the auction. Meanwhile, the hard-hitting player will try to use this opportunity to make the most and get back in the form as well.
