Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) added former cricketer Abdur Razzak to the selection panel recently. Now they are adding opener Shahriar Nafees to the Cricket Operations Committee.
However, it is not yet confirmed which position has been offered to the former opener of the national team, reported to Cricfrenzy.
Nafees was in a discussion with Cricket Operations Committee chairman Akram Khan on Saturday (January 30th). There he was offered a key position in the BCB's cricket operations. Former Bangladesh cricketer Sabbir Khan has been working as a cricket operations manager for a long time. Former opener batsman might be seen in that position.
The left handed batsman is still active in competitive cricket. He has also been a commentator on several international series and domestic tournaments. In his career, he has played 75 ODIs for Bangladesh, made 2,201 runs with the bat. He also played 24 Tests and made 1267 runs. In addition, he has scored 25 runs in only T20.
