Former skipper of Bangladesh Mashrafe Mortaza asked his fans and followers to be safe and to be at home, through his social media FaceBook page.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic people around the world is suffering and government requested people to be in their home, be safe, be isolated from others. Cricketers are also been in self isolation with their family and asking people also to follow the government rules. For this reason players all around the world is spreading awareness from their own position.

Mashrafe the right handed veteran player also is no different, He posted a video message of his own where he had advice and also requested everyone to follow the government rules and stay home to minimize the affect.

"We all know about coronavirus. Many of us are talking about it on social media. Wherever you go, everyone is terrified about the coronavirus and there is reason to be panic. All the major countries of the world are now physically, mentally and socially damaged. They are not able to tackle this situation."

He also said,"What should we do now. we are seeing today the larger countries are breaking apart, our country is small and the number of people is very high. If we have a crisis like this, Allah forbid, we all know what might happen. There are so many things to do right now that I think everyone should do. One is to call Allah staying at home, to pray five times a day. Call upon Allah to have mercy on us. Help us to avoid this kind of disaster, make corona away from us and make everyone healthy."

Many people who went to abroad and return before or after the pandemic situation of coronavirus occurs are moving and not following the government orders properly. Mashrafe requested them to be in self isolation for 14 days as the virus affected person will know in between this time if he is affected by it or not.

Mashrafe said, "Also those brothers and sisters  who live abroad, coming to the country or those who went for visit and came back have much to do. The first is to obey the rules. Quarantine using this term, I would say, to be locked up at home. Don't take it with family, you will be alone for 14 days. If you are not sick after 14 days, then stay at home with your family. Unless physicians or higher officials of the government declare that we are safe, stay home until then."

Also Mashrafe gave some advise about how one can prevent themselves from this virus. Like drinking water, washing hands, keeping everything neat and clean.

"Then of course we have a lot to do. That is, wash your hands regularly with soap. Drink water every 15-20 minutes and keep you home and surroundings neat and clean. We have to abide by these rules. We will not get any chance if the situation become harder than this. So from now on we should resist this thing with strong hand. Because it can become a state crisis. We do not know who is in the vicinity. Who we are getting out, whose hands we are holding, what are we doing, no one really knows who is bearing this virus. Because the virus will take 14 days for you to understand. So it seems to me that this is a matter of deep thought."

Requesting everyone to be at home Mahsrafe said that, "What we are not thinking highly of is that if it accidentally hurts me, you, your family, someone in the family, or socially, it will be very difficult to handle. As I said earlier, countries like Italy, England-Spain-China, everyone is frosty. It's time to think about how much we can do there. Because the country is so small, the number of people is very large. The things we have to do, we do. You are the captain of your house now. If you can do captaincy in your house properly, I'm sure we can reduce the number of infected. Otherwise disaster is more likely to be happen. So I request you to stay in your house. Please, please, please ..,"
