Shaun Tait ‘pleased’ to watch Hasan in County Championships

Hasan has been making an impact for Kent in the County Championship, most recently producing a superb four-wicket haul against Derbyshire. His performances in English conditions have further highlighted his growing reputation as one of Bangladesh’s leading pace bowlers.

Tait, who previously worked closely with Hasan during his time with the Bangladesh team, said he was delighted to see the pacer gaining experience in county cricket.

“I’m very pleased that he is playing county. I really enjoy working with him, he’s a quality bowler,” Tait told Cricfrenzy.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh speedster Nahid Rana has reportedly attracted interest from multiple Big Bash franchises.

Former Australian fast bowler Tait said he was not surprised by the attention surrounding the young fast bowler but suggested that the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) could have plans to manage him primarily for international cricket.

“Well I’m not surprised. They should be interested in him. But sounds like BCB might manage him for international cricket instead. Let’s see,” Tait said.

The BBL interest in Nahid and Hasan’s successful county stint underline the growing reputation of Bangladesh’s fast-bowling stocks on the international stage.
