The opening Test, part of the ICC World Test Championship, will run from May 8 to 12 in Dhaka, followed by the second Test at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium from May 16 to 20.

Shan Masood will continue as captain, while four uncapped players, Abdullah Fazal, Amad Butt, Azan Awais and Muhammad Ghazi Ghori have been included in the squad.

Several members, including Azan Awais, Imam-ul-Haq, Muhammad Ghazi Ghori, Noman Ali and Sajid Khan, are currently attending a red-ball training camp in Lahore.

The team will regroup for a preparatory camp in Karachi starting April 27, before departing for Bangladesh on May 2.

Players involved in the Pakistan Super League will join the squad after completing their franchise commitments, with those reaching the final travelling later.

Meanwhile, PCB on Saturday officially appointed former captain Sarfaraz Ahmed as the head coach of the national Test side ahead of the Bangladesh series.
