The Tri-series T20 opening match between Bangladesh and Zimbabwe was delayed due to wet outfield at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Friday.
The consistent rain made the outfield wet. At the moment the rain stopped and the umpire will have pitch investigation at 6.15 pm .
The pitch was covered all day and at 5 PM cover from the center wicket was taken off.
The drainage system in Mirpur is world class. The groundsmen are working very hard to make the ground available to start the match
The match was scheduled to start at 6.30 pm but due to wet it didn’t start in due time.
