Taskin, Mustafiz, and Hridoy depart for LPL

Bangladesh cricketers Taskin Ahmed, Mustafizur Rahman and Towhid Hridoy have departed for Sri Lanka on a flight at five o'clock for the upcoming Lanka Premier League (LPL).

Taskin is set to feature for Colombo Strikers in this year's LPL, while Mustafiz and Towhid will play for Dambulla sixers.

Taskin will be joined by Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Thisara Perera, Shadab Khan, Glenn Phillips, Matheesha Pathirana, and Dunith Wellalage and many other T20 cricketers.

Before leaving the airport, Hridoy shared his thoughts, stating that he believes performing well is essential, regardless of the venue. He expressed that doing well whenever the opportunity arises will bring more opportunities. 

The fifth edition of the Lanka Premier League is scheduled to start on July 1 and will be played in three cities: Kandy, Dambulla, and Colombo.
