Bangladesh wicket-keeper batter Litton Das doesn't want to overthink his poor form; instead, he wants to stay calm and focused ahead of the preparatory T20Is against the USA and the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024.

Litton played a total of 9 matches this year, scoring an average of 12.18 in 11 innings with only 134 runs. He was dismissed for ducks four times and also failed to perform well in the recent Sri Lanka series and Zimbabwe series, which led to his exclusion from the team.

However, the right-arm batter emphasized the importance of hard work in practice and does not want to overthink.

“In bad times, you don't have anything to overthink. When you're in a bad patch, going through a bad time, the more you overthink it, the worse it gets. You have only one option. How hard you work in practice. That is very important. I think in bad times we should stay as cool and calm as possible and focus on your cricket,” said Litton in BCB's Red Green Story.

Litton believes that the Bangladesh team will face varying pressure in the upcoming T20 World Cup, but he thinks that if they can perform without the pressure than they can achieve success.

“I believe there will be increased pressure in the World Cup, affecting all parties. However, if we can play excellent and fearless cricket without worrying about anything, then I think we have a very good chance," he added.
