KL Rahul, Ruturaj fined for slow-over rate

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) KL Rahul was fined for slow over-rate during Match 34 of IPL 2024 against Chennai Super Kings at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow.
Rahul was fined INR 12 Lac as it was his first offence of the season under the IPL’s Code of Conduct relating to minimum over-rate offences.
Ruturaj Gaikwad, captain of Chennai Super Kings has been fined after his team maintained a slow over-rate for the same match and was fined the same amount.
Mumbai Indians batter Tim David and batting coach Kieron Pollard have been fined for breaching the IPL’s Code of Conduct during their team’s Tata Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 match against Punjab Kings.
David and Pollard committed a Level 1 offence under Article 2.20 of the IPL’s Code of Conduct. David and Pollard were each fined 20 percent of their respective match fees. Both admitted to the offence and accepted the Match Referee’s sanction. For Level 1 breaches of the Code of Conduct, the Match Referee's decision is final and binding.
