The 10th edition of Bangladesh Premiere League (BPL) ended with Fortune Barishal securing their maiden title win. Barishal’s overseas all-rounder James Fuller who came to BPL for the first time was delighted to be part of the winning team and he expressed his desire to play the next BPL.

The New Zealand cricketer shared his thoughts on BPL and he was impressed with Bangladesh's fast bowlers and lauded Mohammad Saifuddin’s performance throughout the tournament.

The excerpts of the interview are below:

Cricfrenzy: Are you eager to come to BPL next year?

Fuller: I'd love to be here next year. Is that what he said I like to be in next year? I'd love to be in next year. I what I've seen of the hospitality, the cricket. It's been amazing, really impressed. And I see the glad and crowded up and I'm over here.

I was born in South Africa, and grew up in New Zealand, and then about the way over in the UK Cricket,,I guess we're gonna get the chance to go all over the world. And that's exactly what happened in the last couple of weeks. It's first up in Bangladesh.

Cricfrenzy: How are you feeling about becoming the champions?

Fuller: So being part of a really special team, who got so much experience, you got some real firepower in the middle and chasing out a score could be difficult sometimes. But the two over they went out, what a knock he played. Some really brave shots. And it's always nervous watching those last 20, or 30 runs, but it's a great feeling.

Cricfrenzy: How did you develop your skills to face such a tight situation?

Fuller: We follow this for probably 3 or 4 years from Graham and the coach back at home in Hampshire. Occasions like this. I always like to hopefully leave my best out there. And although Russell got hold of me in the last over, it was just, I felt like we batted really well, and it was just great to put it into such a good team.

Cricfrenzy: Anything about the Bangladesh bowlers?

Fuller: Yeah, quite a few youngsters bowling gunfire pretty quick, and it's good to see there's plenty around here. Pleasantly surprised to see how quickly guys are bowling. There was a young guy here. He didn't, first came but back in. Yeah, there are a lot of good bowlers.

Cricfrenzy: Do you think BPL experience would help you shape up for sub-continent conditions?

Fuller: Yeah, I guess all the sub-continents or the conditions can sort of help people. I'm always surprised by how much bounce and pace there are. The subcontinent, especially the T20. It's good for fast bowlers. And, Pakistan, it's as difficult as it can get. So it's nice to have a few sort of conditions that are slightly in your favour with a bounce, with a swing.

Cricfrenzy: Did you guys discuss the match in the dressing room?

Fuller: There's always a talk about, you get to a final. You don't wanna do overdo what you've been doing. So it's just 6 year skills, really hone and on what has got the train here individually. I just try to repeat that in the final.

Cricfrenzy: Did you give any suggestions to youngsters?

Fuller: I didn't do any talking. There are enough senior players in a team. You got Tamim Iqbal and Mushy and Mahmudullah. There are so many senior players in a team for those sorts of guys to look up to. I just slotted it really nicely. It was a well-oiled machine when I turned up, and we sort of just kept doing that.
