Afghanistan's off-spinner Mujeeb Ur Rahman has been ruled out of the T20 World Cup due to an injury, just as the team progresses to the Super Eight stage.
The 23-year-old, a key player for Afghanistan, has accumulated 46 T20 International caps and taken 59 wickets, with an impressive career economy rate of 6.35.

Mujeeb's involvement in the tournament was limited to one match in Group C, where he delivered an excellent performance, securing 1/16 in three overs against Uganda.
Bangladesh can win World Cup and that's the beauty of this game, says Dale Steyn

However, it has now been confirmed that a significant injury to the joint of his right index finger will sideline him for the remainder of the tournament.
In response, the ICC Event Technical Committee has approved Afghanistan's request to replace Mujeeb with Hazratullah Zazai, a designated travelling reserve.
Afghanistan will face India, Australia and the second-placed side in Group D (possibly Bangladesh) in their Super Eight fixtures.
