"Another big thing corona taught me that who knows what will happen tomorrow. So by doing hard work without eating, let's just eat and stay comfortable. After getting rid of corona I don't think that it will take a long time to be fit again. So my current target is to eat my favourite dishes, stay safe and sound, relax and stay calm through mentally," he added.

However, due to the house arrest cricketers are not able to go out and do their fitness work, as the coronavirus situation is still at large in the country. So, players started to their fitness work at their home and following diet rules to be fit and not gain overweight.

"I train for one hour every day. Normally when we go out, we burn a lot of calories. I’m doing one hour of exercise on the treadmill but in normal time we walk a lot and burn a lot of calories. But that’s not happening now as we are sitting in one place for a long time due to this pandemic," he added.
Another all-rounder Mohammad Saifuddin doesn't have a strict diet like Tamim but he is also maintaining a healthy diet by minimizing carbohydrates and fat.
"Honestly speaking, during the month of Ramadan I actually did not maintain the diet and work-out plan properly as I was fasting. But after the Ramadan, I am working hard every day," Saifuddin said.
Saifuddin is taking home-cooked food with lots of fruits and vegetables as his meal plan.
"I eat two handmade ruti, egg and vegetables in breakfast. As a mid-day meal before lunch, I eat fruits so I don’t crave for more rice which I used to have," he said.
"I also eat fruits as an evening snacks, avoid sweet and deep-fried foods. At dinner, again I eat ruti. I always try to eat less portion of rice, more of vegetables and protein," Saifuddin added.
Debashis Chowdhury BCB's chief physician is hoping that the nationally contracted players are maintaining a proper diet and said that the board will soon give them instruction to take calcium and vitamin-D supplements.
"I believe national cricketers are maintaining their meal plan properly. They all attended classes, workshops earlier about food, many of them are well experienced. BCB at the beginning of this crisis gave them some guidelines regarding food to boost immunity. Hopefully they are following it," he said.
