Tamim follows ‘Keto Diet program’ in corona period

Bangladesh one day captain Tamim Iqbal has revealed the secret of his fitness and athleticism, stating that he is following Keto Diet program in his daily life to remain healthy on the stroke of the coronavirus pandemic.
A keto diet is a low-carb, moderate protein, higher-fat diet that can help people burn more fat effectively. It has many benefits from weight loss to keeping health and performance fit.
“Kind of Keto I would say. There is a company named Green Nation who gave me my meal at home four times a day. The meal is less than 1,500 calories a day and I try to eat that,” said Tamim Iqbal, who kept so many records to his hut as Bangladesh cricketer including the leading run-scorer of Bangladesh in his long cricket career.
“I train for one hour a day. Normally when we go out, we burn a lot of calories. I’m doing one hour of exercise on the treadmill but in normal time we walk a lot and burn a lot of calories,” Tamim honestly disclosed his secret of dieting to remain healthy in this time in a Facebook live chat show recently.

“But that’s not happening now as we are sitting in one place for a long time due to this pandemic,” he added.
Tamim is different from the other Bangladesh players in case of fitness and his humanity. He brought all the national team players under a platform to raise a fund to help the corona-affected people. He individually helps 19 athletes out of cricket.
Tamim extended helping hands towards the Chattogram Coaches Association to financially help them. He contributed to Amphan-affected people in the south-western coastal areas of the country.
Besides his humanity, he is known well for his strict fitness. He maintains a strict health regiment. As a part of it, he didn’t eat rice for so long to keep him fit.
During his bad patch of runs, the mainstay opener of Bangladesh individually held some tight practice sessions on his fitness by hiring foreign fitness coach in Dubai. Even when he went to Thailand and London, he worked on his fitness.
The ODI captain, who got a long-term captaincy from the BCB after Mashrafe Bin Mortaza’s retirement, said that the much-anticipated Test series between England and the West Indies will be very crucial for cricket as this will be the first series after the Coronavirus pandemic World wide
“We need to remain clean and strictly follow everything in the dressing room. I really think the upcoming England-West Indies series will be crucial for the cricketing world,” the 32-year-old batsman viewed.
“And we will get a better idea when cricket finally returns to the field. I think it will take some time to get things back to normalcy,” he concluded.
