Dhaka Dynamites Chief Executive officer (CEO) Obeid R Nizam said that they could have clinched the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) title trophy if they had power over the committee.
Dhaka Dynamites is one of the popular franchise teams of the country’s lucrative franchise-based tournament-Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). There has always been a rumour in the country’s sports arc that the team have control over the committee for which they succeed to play finals more than any other franchisee teams in the tournament.

Dhaka has the highest trophy trail on their bag. Out of seven seasons, Dhaka has won three times and was runner-up for two times on the back of Gladiators and Dynamites.
Clearing the air about the accusation, Obeid R Nizam in a Facebook live chat session with Cricfrenzy.com said that it’s totally insulting for a professional unit like them.
He also said if they would have that kind of muscle power over the committee they might have won the title for countless times.
“I’ve said before that we work as a professional unit. Many of our team members may be seen here or there, but we do not create any obstacles. I think it’s insulting. In my opinion, it’s better not to make such baseless claims. And if we really showed power, then why not in the final, we would have shown that up there and won,” Obeid R Nizam said.
“It’s very unfortunate that people think this way. In fact, if that was the case, wouldn’t I have used it all the time, I would have used it as soon as I reached the final so that the trophy would come to our house. I also heard this complaint. But it is completely baseless,” Obeid concluded.
