Taskin's effort in vain as Dambulla outclass Colombo

Dambulla Thunders thumped Colombo Strikers by an 8-wicket margin in the ongoing Lanka Premier League (LPL) at the Dambulla International Stadium.
Chasing the target, Reeza Hendricks and Kusal Perera built up a strong 154-run partnership before Taskin Ahmed dismissed both Reeza Hendricks and Kusal Perera in consecutive deliveries.
Reeza Scored 54 off 39 and Perera top-scored with 80 in 50 balls which featured eight boundaries and four sixes.

However, Dambulla Sixers chased down the target with 13 balls to spare.
Earlier, Dambulla skipper Mohammad Nabi opted to field first. Colombo Strikers scored 185/6 in 20 overs, thanks to Angelo Perera and Glenn Phillips for contributing 41 and 52 runs to the innings.
Nuwan Pradeep and Mohammad Nabi took 2 wickets each for Dambulla while Mustafizur Rahman remained wicketless.
