Dhaka Dynamites Afghanistan opener Hazratullah Zazai posted his second successive fifty to help them earn their second successive win in the Bangladesh Premier League as they thrashed Khulna Titans by 105 runs at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on Tuesday.

Dynamites posted 192-6 and later bundled out Titans for 87 runs to win the match by massive margin which will only boost their net run-rate as the tournament progress.

In the first match of Dhaka against Rajshahi Kings, Zazai struck 78 off 41 balls, and eventually, Dhaka won the match by 83 runs.

The victory was set up by their batsmen who recorded the highest total of this season while Titans started the chase on the back foot and it remained that way and largely due to the unified bowling effort by the Dynamite bowlers led by Shakib al Hasan, who picked 3-18.

Junaid Siddique(31) gave some hope for the visitors but he had very little support from his mates but it was Shakib and Sunil Narine - two of the best operators in this format shared five wickets to bowl Khulna out well under 20 overs.

Zazai and Sunil Narine added 67 runs in the opening stand for Dhaka while Rony Talukdar, Kieron Pollard and Andre Russell exploited the initial platform playing some handy innings.

Sunil Narine was the first batsman to get dismissed for Dhaka adding 19 off 14 balls. He mistimed a Paul Stirling delivery that ended with a catch at mid-on by Al Amin Khan.

Rony and Zazai added 43 runs in the second wicket stand. Rony felt for 28 off 18 balls. Mahmudllah Riyad, the captain of Khulna Titans, trapped Rony by a slow delivery. Ariful Haque took an easy catch at long-on to dismiss him.

After losing three wickets for 113, it was Shakib Al Hasan’s responsibility to keep Dhaka afloat with Zazai, but both of them felt in two deliveries in succession by Paul Stirling. Zazai was dismissed for 57 off 36 balls. He hit three fours and five sixes.

David Wiese and Paul Stirling took two wickets each for Khulna, while Ali Khan and Mahmudullah Riyad took one wicket each.
