Dhaka Dynamites will be looking forward to keep their winning momentum as they take on Khulna Titans in the Bangladesh Premier League that will resume after a day break.

The star studded Dynamites began their campaign on the right note as they defeated Rajshahi Kings in their opening match while Titans on the other hand earned a eight-run defeat at the hand of champion Rangpur Riders in their opening game.

Titan will be looking forward to make sure their middle-order perform in a better manner as that looked to be the reason they lost their first game after a blistering start was provided by their openers in their first game Paul Stirling and Junaid Siddique shared 90 runs in their opening stand.

‘’We were struggling over batting from the past two years. We did not had a formidable opening pair but this time round both our openers performed outstandingly,’’ said Titans skipper Mahmudullah.

‘’However, we could not manage to bat well in the mid overs as we could not score the boundaries that was required at that point. We had too many dot balls and that made it hard for us. We have to work on it and come up with a plan to resolve it,’’ he added.

‘’Dhaka is a well organized team. They are the team with great potential in pen and pencil based on their outstanding performance. In their last match they perform outstandingly in both batting and bowling and we have to be at our best to beat them,’’ he added.

Dhaka will be looking forward to see their Afghanistan opener Hazratullah Zazai blaze from the start as he did in the opening game with his blazing 78 runs that helped his side post a formidable runs on the board.

They have their injury concern though as two of their stars had sustained injuries with Kazi Anik getting injured in a bike accident while Nurul Hasan receiving stitch on his head for getting injured while coming down to the hotel lobby though the latter was seen practicing ahead of the second game.

“Our preparation for the next match is very good. We won the first match of the BPL in solid vein. We will get down in the field to play the second with that confident. Hopefully it’ll be better,’’ Dynamites all-rounder Shuvagata Hom told reporters.

‘’Our opening pair was good in the first match and we hope to continue from where we left in the opening game,’’ he added.
