In hope for participating in T-20 World Cup which will take place in 2020, Afghan leg spinner Rashid Khan has given priority to Big Bash league instead of Bangladesh premier league (BPL).


To co-operate with the condition of the host country Australia, the number one bowler of this abridged format has taken such decision. As a cricketer of the sub-continent,he is up to taking the challenge of playing in versatile conditions of Australia.

This leg spinner admires facing different challenges in each of the days.Therefore,after analyzing everything he had decided to refuse the offer made by BPL.
In his words,'I acquired offer of playing in BPL but I prioritized Big Bash over it.I love playing in Australia.As a bowler of the sub-continent,the conditions out here are totally divergent.'


He also stated, 'Everyday you have to face different challenges.Moreover,T-20 World Cup will be taking place here.So,this is an privilege to adjust with the conditions here.For better preparation of the World Cup,I prioritized Big Bash first.'


Rashid took stepped foot in the 5 th season of BPL wearing the jersey of Comilla Victorians. In that year he managed to keep his economy at the rate of 4.46 and took 6 wickets in a total of 7 matches.
