West Indies T2o captain Carlos Brathwaite is the household name in Bangladesh because of his involvement in Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) in which he is the part of Khulna Titans team.
He is also one of the few overseas players, who regularly finds his place in the final XI for his franchise. As BPL is set to start, two weeks after the completion of West Indies’ tour in Bangladesh, Brathwaite is also thinking about the cash-rich tournament.

He however is eying to do well in the three-match T20 series against Bangladesh to gain some confidence and form as he aims to be solid player for his franchise.
“It always helps to do well. If we do well here in three games, we can take the momentum to BPL then you can be a solid player for your franchise,” Brathwaite said.
“It gives you a chance to get a contract for the following year. Every game is important, especially international cricket where you have had to go through so much sacrifices, trials and tribulations to get here. Now we have the privilege of playing and living out our dream, but it is not just for the BPL but also for the family and fans back home.”
