|| Desk Report||
Unlike their first round clash against Central Zone, South Zone have had little room for error so far, facing the same opponents in the fourth round of the Bangladesh Cricket League.
South Zone have taken a 48-run lead with five wickets in hand, after bundling out Central Zone for 261 runs.
With Yeasin Arafat getting run out in the very first delivery of the second day, Taibur Rahman continued the innings, before Mahedi Hasan got him out for 68 runs to wrap up Central Zone’s innings.
Anamul Haque and Fazle Mahmud made 70-odd runs each and added 146 runs for the second wicket to lay a good foundation for the team after Shahriar Nafees fell cheaply.
