Bangladesh seamer Rubel Hossain insisted that he is well aware that he need to deliver in the death and preparing him accordingly for the upcoming three-match ODI’s against West Indies.

Rubel had often been considered the last resort for Tigers skipper while they are bowling against any international opponent in the ODIs. There are instances when he comes out victorious, while he experiences being at the other side of the spectrum at times .

Rubel said that he is looking forward to delivering in the death if he is given a chance in the ODIs.

“I am in good rhythm for the last two or three series and if I get an opportunity will always try give my best the way I’ve tried to do in the past. I have been playing international cricket for nine years. So, I have gained some experience naturally, but I still work a lot to prepare bowling in the death,” said Rubel.

“My main strength is bowling in the death and so I have to keep doing that. It is such a situation that can either win or lose you a match. Naturally you need to have more focus and I am working to be better equipped bowling in the death,” he said adding that they are aware that West Indians will be playing aggressive cricket.

“We have to concentrate on all their batsmen and though our video analyst provides clips of every individual [from the opposition], we don’t focus on anyone in particular.  All of their players like to play strokes and that is going to be our main challenge.”
