Bangladesh pace bowling coach Courtney Walsh was happy to be the part of Bangladesh’s landmark series-victory over West Indies but at the same time, disappointed for his own country, because of their meek surrender.

Even though the professionalism barred the player of West Indies’ golden age from expressing his entire disappointment, it looked it was a hard pill to swallow for him

“Everybody felt very well but for me personally, I was being heckled by a few West Indians at home. As far as Miami. I couldn’t say much,” he said. “I was very happy when we won the ODI and T20I series, because the heckling was a little less. Now that we have won the Test series, it is a very good feeling. I am just happy to be a part of it. Guys played well, I am so happy, so proud.”

But on the reversal of the fate, he disclosed:  “I might say that I am disappointed with probably how things have unfolded but I am very happy to be involved with Bangladesh. We are in a winning situation so my pride is intact.”

“As a West Indian, you are going to be disappointed in the performance, and saddened by the margin of defeat in India and here. You hope that after Bangladesh win all the series here and the West Indies leave, they will improve in those performances.”
