Key England players to miss out on Scotland ODI

England have been hit with some bad news as Chris Woakes has been ruled out of the ODI match between England and Scotland next week. This news comes right after Ben Stokes’ hamstring tear injury that is also going to keep him out from that game.
Woakes will now have to prove his fitness by this week if he is to make it to the upcoming Australia ODI series. Tom Curran has been named as his replacement for the ODI against Scotland.
Meanwhile, Jos Buttler has been rested for the clash.
Ben Stokes, on the other hand, is likely to be absent from the ODI series against Australia. The medical team, however, seems to be optimistic as they claim that he is going to miss the early part of the series.

The all-rounder missed the second Test against Pakistan despite staying on as a squad member.
Eoin Morgan, who missed out on the charity match between World XI and West Indies due to a finger injury, is now fit and should be able to fly to Scotland on Saturday morning.
The injury of Woakes gives England some concerns as he has been their best white-ball bowler over the last winter. He was elected the man of the series against New Zealand and was also instrumental in England’s triumph over as he can not only bowl well in the deaths but is also a very handy batsman down the order.
